What is Used Oil EPR?
“extended producer responsibility” means responsibility of producer of base oil or lubrication oil or importer of used oil under this chapter for meeting recycling targets only through registered recyclers to ensure environmentally sound management of used oil.
Who can apply?
The following entities shall get them registered by the Central Pollution Control Board on the portal, namely:-
- producers;
- collection agents ;
- recyclers;
- used oil importers.
Documents Required for E-Waste EPR Registration
- GST Certificate, IEC Certificate, PAN card, CIN certificate and MSME certificate.
- PAN card and Aadhar Card of Authorized Signatory Person from the company
- One email ID and Mobile number for OTP verification.
- Details of Sales data record of previous financial years will be required.
- Details related type of waste oil import or Manufacturer and its quantity.
What is the Validity of Waste Oil EPR Certificate?
Waste Oil EPR Certificate is valid for 2 years and after that renewal will be required.
Post Compliance/Annual Returns?
Filing annual returns in the form provided on the portal on or before 30th June following the financial year to which that return relates.
